RESCUE HORSES
ARLO (AVAILABLE)
Arlo is a grade 4y/o bay QH gelding who is approximately 14.2 hh. Arlo was turned over to us after his previous owner felt she could no longer properly care for him due to some unfortunate life circumstances.
Arlo is halter broke and knows his basics, however, he has not yet been started under saddle. He is quick on his feet and would make a great project horse for anyone looking to rope, barrel race, or use for ranch work.
DOC (AVAILABLE)
Doc is a 4y/o dark bay, grade Tennessee Walker/QH gelding. Doc is your next Black Beauty! He is a lover not a fighter, gentle by nature, and willing to work.
Doc has been lightly started in the round pen and is a very fast learner. He has a beautiful stride and would make a great project horse for anyone looking to participate in local shows. We think he would make a particularly great English horse, due to his long legs and long stride.
STALLONE (AVAILABLE)
Stallone is a 4y/o gelding who has been started under saddle and is ready to be taken in any direction. While smart, he also has a tendency to be head-strong and likes to be the herd leader.
Stallone is beautiful, and he knows it. He is lazy by nature, but does have some speed when required. He prefers to move slow, but is a beautiful mover. He would do well in the show ring in events like western pleasure and trail due to his natural collection. He may also prosper as a jumper, since is notorious for jumping out or breaking out of the paddock to be with his "friends."
Stallone is registered as an appendix with the APtHA.
BUTTERFLY (ADOPTED)
Butterfly is a grade 13 y/o bay QH mare, who was turned over to us after her previous owner outgrew her. With many years of experience "raising kiddos," Butterfly is a kids horse through-and-through! She is gentle, patient, and kind with the kiddos and would do well "teachin a youngin to ride."
AERO (ADOPTED)
Aero is a grade 15y/o sorrel mare, who has been used for the last 8 years as a companion horse. She is halter broke and gentle, but has not been started under saddle. She does not have any ailments or injuries preventing her from being started.
We believe Aero would do well continuing out her "companion horse legacy" where she can roam free in the pasture and keep the grass at bay.
ZEP (ADOPTED)
Zep is a grade 14y/o 14 hh sorrel QH mare, who has been used for the last 8 years as a companion horse/pasture ornament. She is halter broke and gentle, and LOVES treats and attention. She has not been started under saddle and does not have any ailments or injuries preventing her from being started.
We believe zep would not take long to start under saddle for use as a trail horse or for sorting cattle. However, Zep would be just as happy continuing her "companion horse legacy" where she, can roam free in the pasture and keep the grass at bay.
